So after I said goodbye to Scott and Rachel I got myself a bagel. I'm walking home from eating that bagel and I knew I was going home to poop. Once I got to about two blocks from my apartment I really knew I had to poop and my keys were ready in my hand. I turned the corner where my apartment is on and just started running to my apartment. I finally get in and dash for the bathroom.

Someone is taking a shower. Chris was in there and I thought maybe I'll just hold it. But that lasted 20 seconds until I grabbed the garbage can and accepted what was going to happen. So I took the can and threw it into my room and shut the door. It all happened so quick. I bent down and it was just coming out so fast. It just flew out of there when it shot out. Once I got up I looked in the garbage can...

Where the fuck is my shit?

I must have squatted at an angle that when it just flew out of there missing the garbage can and landed right behind it on my bedroom floor.

It was two palms big. I know this, I had to pick it up.

Took the bag, tied it up, brought it upstairs, and the trash door was locked, left the bag in the 2nd floor hallway, went downstairs back to the apartment. Chris eventually finished the shower and I didn't tell him what happened. I felt weird.

I really need to make friends with those neighbors.

i've been working on putting together the first to penshurst show... it will be taking place in front of my house in my cul-de-sac. It will be one big last hurrah for Johnathan Faubert (Rabbit Troop) because he just got a job in Japan and will be leaving at the end of august. So this will be his big goodbye.
Today I got all of my neighbors approval and tomorrow Devin and I will be going to city hall to turn in some paper work. I made this flyer today... pending on the approval of the city.

I think birds smell bad. I like hearing birds chirp at night, in the morning, and in the afternoon, but mainly just at night. Thats when i am outside smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer, so i probably smell bad too. People guzzle gas like its purified water, and until it is pouring out of their ears, eyes, nose and mouth. They function on the verge of a ceiling fan spinning too fast and falling on you. I can't get enough of it. It would be unacceptable if you could. Can you throw rocks at everyone that sucks? That would be everyone... else. Right on, that is really far out. I do wonder sometimes though, Its amazing how people comprehend things there own way, its almost astounding. One subject/topic, is understood, people process and take in what has happened to the subject/topic, and manage what they learned, as fast or slow as they can. Like a movie, or a book.

And then how differently all the information is processed by different people. What's good and what's bad? What's right or wrong? who is sexy and who is ugly? Should I take the bus or drive my ar? What are the consequences of each? Does it matter?

Sitting down at a wooden table, suffering from lack of activities, during the day, we were wearing short sleeved shirts, thanks to the day. The capitol building was not to far off. If you can't control yourself, then you need to be alone. I don't know where I'm from though. So its hard to find things to think of, and how to act.
Someone was sneezing on the other side of the cafe when i remembered the record store, the cinema, and the bank. A blue car drove by as if it was the same car my friend purchased, but in a different color, blue. Which reminded me of her, and so I missed her too.

i just found this cleaning out a bunch of papers from my closet. it was a prompt exercise my teacher gave last semester.
the prompt was "1 2 3 2 1". here's what i came up with:

1st floor, I ran to the elevator so I wouldn't miss it, push 3
2nd floor, elevator stops to let someone on this creaky piece of shit
3rd floor beeps, this is my stop
1. Walk through the door
2. Small talk with the secretary
3. Walk into the office, sign some papers
2. Say "good-bye" to the secretary (she's kind of pretty)

on the way home from class today,

i saw a billboard with a picture of an 8 or 9 month old baby on it.

the words read "Life Begins at Conception."

i couldn't help but think:

if their point is human life begins at conception,

they should have put a picture of a zygote on the billboard.

then i realized if they had,

people would never believe the picture was of a newly formed

fetus, which has the potential to become a human baby.

i'm pretty sure most people would accept abortion if they understood

that the actual product of conception is just a bundle of cells and genes

with the potential to become something completely different.

Death on a Factory Farm

The executive producer over at HBO Documentary films, who is exec producing the film i've been working on, produced a film about the ills of factory farming. Its airing on HBO starting the 16th. Looks like a really good film. Read more here.

San Diego

We found a diner in downtown San Diego that sold Elvis's favorite sandwich.

Instead of Subways or Trains, California uses the "trolley" system. They get their power from wires above your head, so there is no electricity on the rails. I'm standing where the trolley would be. I can't find my picture of it right now, but it pretty much looks like a monorail (like the ones at Disney) in fire engine red.

Alexis (Staff writer and one of only 4 of my friends at school) and I on the way to the trolley. That's the hotel where the conference was held and where we stayed in the background.

Rooterville

Last Sunday, February 15th I was able to visit Rooterville, an animal sanctuary outside of Gainesville. What they do is rescue animals who have been abused from slaughter houses and factory farms and they let them live the rest of their lives happily.
Rooterville specializes in pot bellied pigs but they also had a bunch of chickens and roosters and newly rescued turkeys.
It was a great experience seeing and playing with all of the pigs and having them come up close to you and rub there faces on your leg. I plan on going back the first week of March to help volunteer. Everyone should check it out: http://www.rooterville.org/

Film is a highly subjective art and our decisions do not necessarily reflect the quality of your work. With more than 1400 submissions this year for a program of only 50 features and 109 shorts, the selection process was extremely difficult and inevitably many fine films are excluded.

I'm sorry I never post anything. I wanted to show you guys what I'm always working on. Whenever I show Scott he never understands anything about my project. You may not understand too. I should explain it I guess. Maybe I'll post some pictures of models soon. I'm at the airport waiting to go to New York right now and this guy next to me took a bubble bath in cologne this morning. I don't want to know.

These 3 images are from a digital architecture class I took in the fall. In my design class we had to build a final model for our last project and for the digital class we had to take that model and design in on the computer and make a presentation layout for it.

The projects we do are pretty abstract. This one started by listening to a Bollywood song and making an intervention using characteristics and techniques of the song.

This is an excerpt from my narrative I had to write for my project:

"Concepts embedded in this model originated from urban bollywood music. The quality of each instrument building up together and fading away to a single element is seen in the intervention at areas of small-scale, congested space to larger scale, vertical spaces.

In the model an idea of each element of sound in the song is to be represented by each space. Which then established a relationship that responds to the other elements involved in the surrounding spaces. Unifying diverse elements through spatial movements became a way in which to relate the spaces."

This one is a hybrid drawingfor the design class i'm in now. Our project is a based around a parking garage. We took the construction documents from it and played with a drawing using it with other media like photographs, i hand drew on it but i haven't scanned that yet. Scott saw it, he didnt understand it. We have to design a car wash using reclaimed water.

Its just a start.

Everything I want is always out of stock. Or somehow always out of reach. Its never ending. It could be my life story, if I let it be. But I probably shouldn't. There is no reason to really worry about that stuff. It is just something nice to have. I mean I've been okay without whatever the object is for over 20 years now. So I mean, you know, whatever. I usually end up getting something from the used or sale section. There isn't really a difference to me. And since I deal with that, I adapt that to life, and thats why i think what i think, and think the way i think. What I think is that we need to start trying to help the planet we live on. We take it for granite ( I am not sure if i spelled that correctly). There isn't a majority concerned with the world we live in today. I think we need to start changing our way of life, or at least become aware of who else lives here with us. That includes every species, race, and creed.

What am I doing at Starbucks? Its as if someone has casted a spell for me to be and feel as lonely as I can at this location. I got a raise today from 7.15 to 7.87. Honestly, there was not much effort put into it. I could have, but for what? The same amount of raise? I feel like veering off into a disastrous accident that has the potential to leave me lifeless as it is everyday on my way to work. This job has left me feeling more anxious then I ever have been in my whole life.

While at a coffee shop I was attending with my ex-girlfriend, we were sitting outside. I found myself nervous, worse then that actually. Like drowning, or what it would be like to drive drunk but be conscious of the fact that you've had too much, and you're going to end with blood on your windows. Drowning with no escape.

Noise, lingoes, thoughts, expressions of others. Overwhelmed with oppression, except its real, because you aren't free. And then Muddy Waters comes on. You get lost into another world of song and voice. Everything ever threatening to you escapes your mind. An indifferent state overcomes you, and you are able to relax until its over. As a styrofoam cup gets dragged across the concrete by the nights breeze, it feels good on the top of your back, just underneath your shoulders. Then you go inside and take a piss.
